I just finished a body of work, which focuses on a detailed exploration concerning the female
identity, including the female figure, body movements, sexuality and symbolism. My current research focuses on ‘fragmentation’, these ‘fragments’ can be either physical (actual
spaces, literal content) or metaphorical (fragments of memory, or symbolic pieces of our subconscious). I build then imaginary worlds which lead to my own story, culture, and landscape. The
fractured landscapes I create are often eerie and spiritual, highlighted through color and geometric shapes. Although my paintings show apparently identifiable objects or figures, they
remain atmospheric and evocative, deliberately constructing mystery through what remains unseen.
